*Sob*. What am I going to do now? I read book four, Tegan’s Power, the concluding story in the Ultimate Power series by L.H. Cosway, or the Tegan’s Blood books as I call them, over Christmas. I was genuinely sad to reach the last page and felt a little down about saying goodbye to all the wonderful characters like Tegan, Finn, Ethan and Rita. Bittersweet I suppose is how I’d have to describe reading the last sentence.

Tegan’s Blood introduced us to our heroine. Devastated by her boyfriend’s suicide, Tegan dropped out of college and made herself a virtual recluse in her apartment until her best friend dragged her to a club one night. At Crimson, she caught the eye of powerful Romanian vampire Ethan Cristescu, and the rest is history.

Tegan’s Return brought her back to Tribane after a couple of years in hiding, in order to rescue a young girl. Ethan was delighted to have her back, but his alliance to the not-so-nice ruler of Tribane meant the course of true love did not run smoothly for one my favourite supernatural couples ever. We got to spend more time with Finn, the lovable rogue and Irish vampire slayer in this book.

Tegan’s Magic saw our heroine get a better hold on her powers. She’s not the ordinary girl she assumed she was and can now fight and hold her own with the best of the supernaturals. Tribane is a hub of craziness and with the powerful witch Rita joining up with their enemy, how will Tegan and her gang fare? In Tegan’s Magic, we also got to see what Tegan’s potent blood does to a vampire.

Tegan’s Power brought us to the showdown between the evil sorcerer Theodore and the rest of the supernaturals in Tribane. I won’t spoil the plot for those who haven’t read the book, but Tegan does get a happy ending in the romance stakes (this is a paranormal Romance after all), and we even got an excerpt from a spin off series. My Review: A fun and bittersweet read since this is the last book. I’m sad to say goodbye to Ethan, Tegan, Finn and everyone else in Tribane. Ethan and Tegan’s romance sizzled in this book. Boy are they a hot couple! After all they’d been through in the first three books, getting to be together finally was well-deserved. And it was fun to experience life through Finn’s eyes.
